This site is basically a gallery for all the sprites I've been making of characters from different series. You can check them out in the sprite collection section over in the navbar. Some characters have alternate costumes or forms, so if you hover over and click them, you might find some cool references!

I originally started this collection back in June 2024. I always really liked crossovers, and I'd been meaning to sprite a bunch of characters in an original style ever since I got back into pixel art in 2022. I first got back into pixel art with making Rivals of Aether-style base sprites, since I wanted to get into workshop modding at the time. Fast forward to early 2024, I started really getting back into video games and wanted to start up a 'video game all-stars' collection as a creative outlet for my renewed love for the medium.

And so it began. I started off with modifying old sprites I did of Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi when I was doing Rivals-style sprites, giving them slightly larger proportions. And that became the base for Peach, who was the first original sprite of this collection. And from there I kept on making sprites, trying to vary the series represented while also including characters from new games I was playing at the time.

This project is a lot of things. It originally started as an all-stars project, but then it morphed more into a "whatever goes" collection. So sometimes it's a tribute to the games and series I'm into, sometimes it's a journal of what I was playing at the time, sometimes a museum of various characters and companies, and sometimes it's just my digital figure collection. It's basically just an excuse to sprite a bunch of characters in the same style.

Considering there's no end goal, I guess I wouldn't really consider this a project. But it's a fun hobby I've been doing on the side for a while, and I'd like to see how big this collection grows.

I don't have any plans to open up requests or even commissions at the moment, but I really appreciate the thought! I may update this in the future if I change my mind, however I'd just like to keep this as a personal project that I'm sharing for the time being.
